When a Tarot Card Doesn’t Make Sense Straight Away

Louise shares why there is no need to rush an interpretation when a tarot card does not immediately make sense.

Sometimes I turn over a tarot card and think, “I’m not quite sure what to make of that.” And that’s okay.

I like to take a moment, look at the picture properly, notice what catches my attention and think about the question I asked. The details in a card, the feeling it brings up and the other cards around it can all offer something to consider.

You don’t have to rush the answer

I don’t believe every card needs an immediate answer. Sometimes it helps to put the guidebook aside for a moment and simply look. What stands out? Is there a symbol, colour or small detail you hadn’t noticed before?

A tarot reading doesn’t have to give you a fixed prediction. It can offer a different angle on a situation, or a question worth spending a little more time with.

There’s no need to rush. Curiosity can take you a long way.

When you’re faced with a question in life, do you look for an answer straight away, or do you prefer to sit with it for a while?
